Steve and I had planned on going windsurfin but there wasn't enoough wind so instead of sitting on the beach waiting for it to pick up we decided to head off to the hills for some geocaching.

Had a nice drive along the windy precipitous back road to nant-Y-Moch then headed off on foot in the driving rain. We had a bit of trouble crossing the first stream but managed to find a plae to jump it in the end. We then found out first cache of the day and headed off further into the hills towards Cwm Hengwm.

The rain was relentless and the going pretty soggy in places. At one point I stopped before a particularly wet patch and told Steve it was wet and we should go around... Steve though better of it, stood in it and disappeared up to his waist!

We found the second cache and then headed back. Crossing the streams was getting more difficult and the final stream had now turned into a raging torrent so we had no choice but to simply wade through the shallowest place we could find.

All in all a great, if wet day in the hills.
